THE PARUCHMD ATHLETE PERFORMANCE SYSTEM
Nine Domains. One Athlete. Athletic performance does not emerge from one variable—it emerges from the interaction of multiple systems.
1. Physical Capacity
Strength, speed, power, mobility, conditioning, injury status, and pain. Mental performance cannot indefinitely compensate for inadequate physical preparation.
2. Sleep & Recovery
Training creates stress; recovery allows adaptation. Sleep duration, timing, latency, and consistency directly govern athletic progress.
3. Mental Health
Anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, and emotional dysregulation. We evaluate how psychiatric treatment impacts the person without compromising performance.
4. Mental Performance
Regulating attention, emotion, cognition, and behavior under competitive pressure. Focus, confidence, and composure can be systematically trained.
5. Training Load & Schedule
More training is not automatically better. We analyze the 24-hour cost of training, school, travel, homework, and total daily load.
6. Nutrition & Energy
The brain is an organ. Biological resource availability directly impacts mood, concentration, sleep, immune function, and recovery.
7. Relationships
Coaches, parents, teammates, and peers create security and belonging—or fear, pressure, and uncertainty. Dynamics matter.
8. Environment
Team culture, school demands, travel, and social media. What is this environment asking the athlete's nervous system to adapt to every day?
9. Identity & Purpose
Preventing "identity foreclosure". When an athlete's worth depends entirely on sport, ordinary setbacks become existential threats.
Find the Performance Constraint
Optimization is not about finding something wrong or trying to change 10 things at once. It is about identifying the single highest-leverage constraint—whether that is sleep timing, mistake recovery, or performance anxiety—and addressing what matters most.
